I create my Lunar Skies Jewelry from raw materials; hand-cut gemstone cabochons, select accent stones, and hand-styled Sterling silver. I endeavor to make each piece unique. My customers can feel confident they will not find themselves wearing the same jewelry as another at any event.

    Hello, my name is Quentin Eckman. The creation of my handcrafted unique jewelry requires many steps. I begin with untreated gemstone slabs. In some cases, I find it necessary to cut my own slabs from raw stone. I then mark select areas of the slab to be cut into shapes for cabbing, that is, the cutting of those shapes into cabochon gemstones.

    After I have cut, shaped, and polished the stones to a fine finish, the design work begins. Fine (nearly pure) .999 silver is used to surround the cabochon for bezeling. .925 Sterling silver is used for the remainder of the piece providing the strength to endure many lifetimes. The silver is cut, shaped, hammered, and brazed into sculpted metal art to comprise the setting for the stone(s).

    Finally, the gemstones are bezel set into the piece and the silver is polished to a bright finish. I take pride in my creations and stand behind them with a satisfaction-guaranteed return policy. If you don’t like it, you don’t have to keep it
